Day Trip to Kiama

Hello all!!  It's been awhile since I've put up a post.  It's been pretty full on with work.  I have a different job than before in St Leonards, so only 3 train stops from home.  I walk home from work 2-3x/week which is nice.  Aram is on his last placement and is done with school in the middle of December.

Anyways, Aram and I finally made a train trek south to Kiama.  We got up pretty early and then took the 2-2.5 hour ride down there.  There was a cute little farmers market going on.  We saw 2 different ocean pools and the infamous blowhole.  It still hasn't gotten crazy warm here, so we didn't even think about packing sunscreen. Bad idea...in 30-60 minutes time of walking around and then getting to a store to buy some, my forearms already were sunburnt.  You live and you learn!

Got some crackers and cheese and sat by the water enjoying the view and the weather.  Aram went swimming in the ocean pool, and said it was still pretty chilly.  Had a beer at the local hotel and then made our way back to the train station.  Overall it was a pretty relaxing day and it was nice to get out of the city.
